Italy is just beginning to establish its national defensive capabilities for cyberspace. During the July 2016 Warsaw Summit, NATO member states agreed to enhance the cyber defenses of national networks and infrastructures, im- prove their resilience and ability to respond quickly and effectively to cyber attacks, and adapt their cyber defense capabilities. As a result of this agreement, Italy may accelerate its activities and investments in cyber defense to reinforce its commitment to NATO.
