Praticamente quello che si cerca di fare con il riconoscimento di pattern (modelli di comportamento riconoscibili in grandi quantità di dati che possono descrivere fenomeni emergenti nei sistemi complessi) anche a base di deep learning (tecnologia che consente di applicare un po’ di intelligenza artificiale anche al riconoscimento di pattern) è fare previsioni.
