Murdoch and Skype?
It wasn't true. But it was possible
Tv is now a double business: 1. platforms; 2. content.
Murdoch is in both of course. But in platforms he is going to have problems, because satellite is not the best compared to Internet Tv and even Digital Terrestrial Tv. He is under attack from telecom companies. And he could strike back by buying Skype, which is the worst nightmare for telcos.
Rumors were in the market about such an acquisition. They disappeared. But the rationale is still there.
