Aldo Moro Aldo Moro was kidnapped 30 years ago. The Red Brigades killed all the policemen that were with him while he was going to his first meeting in the morning. And 55 days after that day, they killed Moro, too. Italy had chosen to obey the United States and the government didn't do anything to deal with the terrorists to save Moro's life. Italian Christian Democracy had felt sort of innocent until the day that Moro was killed. The entire country lost some of its selfdeclared innocence.
